On Wednesdays and Thursdays at college we are studying and looking at Studio Photography and Studio Lighting, and yesterday we had be looking at creating portraits using only one Studio Light and also making them looking interesting. For example, having the light at different angles during every photograph and having your model stand in different ways and heights, to see what shadows are created by doing this and only using one Photographic light.

Yesterday, I had Leela as my model and I used one flash gun with Barn Doors attached to my flash light in order to help create interesting shadows. I also had Leela standing in different ways and having her face facing the light, in order to show shadow on her face and body. Whilst using the Barn Doors attached to my flash gun I moved them around throughout the shoot to help create interesting shadows, also.

Here is my favourite and my final images from this shoot:-

Welcome!

Hello fellow bloggers!
I have created a blogspot so then I am able to post my photographic work that I have and will be doing during my college hours, and my personal work. As I only began my two year Photography course in September I haven't created many photoshoots as I am yet to get going, but I have done a couple of shoots that I will be posting throughout this blog. I will also be able to write down all my ideas and 'Behind the Scenes' of photoshoots that I will (hopefully) be carrying out in the near future.
Thank-you for reading this post and taking the time to look at my blog :)
